SAFETTRAXX SPECIFICATION
The Safetraxx System is manufactured from a powder coated extruded aluminium section. The mobile eyebolt is manufactured from anodised aluminium extruded sections complete with stainless steel eye piece and ancillary parts, all running on plastic-covered roller bearings.

FIXING SAFETRAXX HORIZONTAL SAFETY SYSTEM
210 STRUCTURE :
Check that the roof cladding is in a suitable state to receive the Safetraxx System before commencing fixing. Installer to confirm to Client Advisor, before work commences, any defects to the roof deck.

COMPONENTS : Safetraxx Safety System with CE Mark comprising interlocking aluminium extruded systems, powder coated and fixed with proprietary fixings to the inclined roof surface. Starter to include entry gate.
FINISH / COLOUR TO BE : Standard colour - Goosewing Grey 10A05.
FASTENING : To be fixed strictly in accordance with the directions issued by Saferidge Ltd and supplied with the system, all for use by an installer (No other fastener may be used).
DELIVERY TIMESCALE : To be advised.
MANUFACTURING LEAD TIMES : Prior to agreeing the on site programme, the installer to obtain delivery dates for all components from Saferidge Ltd.
410 FIXING SAFETRAXX GENERALLY :
Remove all drilling swarf, dust and other foreign matter before finally fixing Safetraxx into position.
Protect Safetraxx adequately during fixing and up to Practical Completion against mechanical damage, corrosion and disfigurement. Rectify any defects as quickly as practicable to minimise damage and nuisance.
Check fastenings on completion and adjust as necessary to ensure they are watertight and the Safetraxx System is secure.
420 FASTENINGS GENERALLY :
Shall be specified and supplied by the manufacturer with each assembly of components.
440 TYPE(S), NUMBER AND LOCATION OF FASTENINGS :
As determined by the Manufacturer.
460 THERMAL MOVEMENT :
Draw together track ends and compress gaskets fitted to provide 2mm gap between end of tracks.
470 STRUCTURAL MOVEMENT JOINTS :
Do not run the Safetraxx over structural movements joints. Obtain specific advise from the Manufacturer.
510 SUPPORTING RUNNER :
Provide continuous mild steel runner to the profile prepared by Saferidge Ltd, fixed back to the concrete with fastenings specified by Saferidge Ltd, all to run true and straight to receive the Safetraxx profile.
511 ANCILLARY COMPONENTS
Supply travelling eyebolt(s), endstops, slope rope(s) and rope securing eye(s) as specified by Saferidge Limited to run on the Safetraxx System and provide compliance with BSEN795.
580 WARNING NOTICES :
Install warning notice with each endstop set as supplied by manufacturer, bearing the words “DO NOT REMOVE”.
590 ALIGNMENT :
Alignment of the Safetraxx must take account of the adjacent workmanship of the roof deck construction to ensure all fastenings are securely driven.
